New dog...

No, not mine...unfortunately. ;):p

My brother called earlier today to let us know he just adopted an 11-month old Great Pyrenees/Lab/Shepherd mix...I guess he's pretty adorable, and such a sweetie. Apparently, he looks more like a Lab/Shepherd mix...but he has the size of a Great Pyrenees without all the bulk. He lives with a few roommates, but assures me that the dog is his, lol.

They spent all day trying to come up with a name, and have yet to decide on one...right now they are just calling him Cali [they live out in California...so that was the first thing that came to mind, lol]...but I urged him to think of a new one, otherwise people are going to start referring to the poor guy as "she." :p:o

I can't wait to meet him...I'm planning on going out there to see him later this month [hopefully]. My brother promised to send me pictures, but he doubts he'll get around to it anytime soon...:rolleyes:

Anyway...I just wanted to fill you guys in and let you know I'll start getting all kinds of stories from my brother. Hm...maybe I should just get him to check out PT?? ;):p

Liana, lol...maybe. I talked to him again earlier today and they have come down to a few names -- [1] Apollo, [2] Billy, [3] Brody, [4] Bentley, and [5] Hollywood [don't ask...lol...I never said my brother was cool :p]. :D

lol Jules, I wish I was getting another dog. :p Although, I'm still having trouble trying to get my dog the "okay" for living in my house at school again. :( Oh well...four more months and he can come with me to Chicago...lol. ;)

I'm in the process of getting a plane ticket to go out and visit him, so I don't see why popping in and saying hi to you would be a problem. :p Where are you at in California? My brother and his friends live in Marina del Ray [right on the beach, I'm so jealous! lol]. :)

Pfft...we don't live near the beach. :p I live close to the Los Angeles area, so it's not too far. ;)

Hm, it would definitely be "do-able." I'm sure my brother would let me take his car, and if Cali proves to be a "good little guy" maybe he could come with me. :) I'll let you know what's going on...when I know lol. :p
