Best board games?

I'm going out to Target later to get some board games, and I'm just wondering what are some of your favorites? We have already bought Candyland, and were thinking about getting Chutes and Ladders.

Any other ideas? :D

My current favorite is probably Cranium :D I've always been a fan of Battleship :o I also love Risk (LOTR version of course ;)), Dogopoly, and Trivial Persuit :)

My favourite favourite game is Balderdash. I LOVE it! :D I also love word games, like Scrabble and Scattergories (sp?) Junior (never tried the regular Scattergories).

I love board & card games! Favorites are: Boggle; Dutch Blitz; Scrabble; Skip Bo; Probe; Scattergories. I have so many games it isn't even funny. Most of the time I go to yard sales looking for them because you can often find brand new games, still in the wrapper for 2-5 bucks each.

We just spent the evening with my in-laws, and we played scrabble (Mark one); and Boggle (I won). Fun time!! :D

Oooo... I LOVE Balderdash! :D It is so funny listening to everyone's definitions!

Though it is a tile game, and you don't play it 'on a board'...he he he...I LOVE Rumiqube (also spelled Rumicube). It is like the card game rummy....it is GREAT!
