Please pray for Gizmo!!!

Poor Gizmo was admitted to the hospital today. He has a high fever due to a URI. Ollie is fine, but he misses his play mate gizmo. POOR BABY!!!:( i really hope Gizmo feels better soon because he is my wittle baby. GET WELL SOON GIZMO HONEY!!!;)

I'm so sorry, Gizmo is such a little angel too, I'm sure he'll be fine. I didn't realize you named new guy Ollie, that's a cute name. I'm sure he misses his buddy, I'll hope for a speedy recovery and return home!

Poor little boy! Shelter kitties often come home with a URI. I'm sure your little guy will be home and cuddling again soon.

YES, please do. I have never dealt with URI bad enough to require hospitalization and want to be educated about it. We just adopted a shelter cat and he has sneezed a few times but nothing more than that. One kitten sneezed *alot* when we first got her and had runny eyes and I rushed her to the vet but it turns out she is just a vigorous litterbox fanatic and kicks up dust so we changed litter. Anyway - yes, please give updates on Gizmo. I am sure you miss him and little Ollie does as well. :( If one of my babies was sick, I would sure welcome a group of catpeople to check in with!! Take care.

My Jazz had a URI when I got her last year from the shelter (plus ringworm and several other nasties). Anyway it took her about three weeks to get over it and unfortunately Ripley caught it and ended up at the vet hospital. He got over it in about 10 days but it caused another problem to flare - a bad infection somewhere that was not related to the URI - the vet never figured out where. Anyway, the URI was the least of our problems.

Hopefully it won't be bad for poor Gizmo and he'll be back home playing with little Ollie soon.
