what online pet stores you ya'll recommend?

hmmm... Maybe Petco, or petsmart.

anyone have personal experience with those? any smaller sites with better deals?

I'm not sure, you can try and do a google search.:) I have ordered some stuff from petco, and I like it. One time I got a treat jar, and it was all just SMASHED. It was in tiny pieces, so I called them, and they just sent me a new one, and told me to throw the broken one away.

I get this magazine! I get it for birds and dogs, but I haven't ordered a kitty one yet.;)

Four Paws Only << I haven't ordered from them yet but they have reasonable prices.

Sit Stay << again, I haven't personally ordered from them but a few people have recommended them to me

I really like JB wholesale--I've ordered from them quite a few times, and everything comes very quickly, and intact.

For small animals:

The Ferret Store AWESOME!! Site full of dog, cat, ferret, bird, and other animal supplies. This is where I bought my rat cage from. They have free shipping on orders over $20 (I think it is $20).

I have always loved Drs. Foster & Smith

I recently received a catalog from In the Company of Dogs. I had never heard of them before that, but they have some really cute stuff! :)

PETCO and PetSmart are also nice :)
