Mr. Meow

Yesterday was my lazy day. I sat in bed with a book, Pouncer purring on my lap, and Nicki at my feet. Allen sat on the dresser meowing at me ALL DAY.

Why?

Then in the middle of the night I realized why! His place in the world during the day is the bed... he kicks Nicki out of it, she sleeps on the couch. Pouncer and he sleep on the bed all day! He wanted me OUT of the bed, so that he can be IN the bed!

Where is he now? Sleeping on the couch in the basement - his spot from dinner time until bed time. Have I messed with his internal clock? LOL.

What a handsome boy, Allen is!! Of course I'm biased - also have an orange tabby. :)

Fister is a cat with set habits. In the morning when I get up, he can't wait to lay on my duvet, I have a blanket I put on top for him to lay on, but sometimes, he's just too quick, so I put it over him. ;) Eventually, he comes out and lay on top of it.

Then, when John gets up, he puts his night shirt on his duvet - and Fister moves on to lay on that immediately! :)

The best thing that i did was to get a king size bed ,I get half , the Cats get the other half. the only thing that we disagree , on which id thier half! Love that Allen photo , a Cutie Patootie ,as my dear Mother used to say!

Allen, don't you think that's a little too bossy:D

Tigris has started to tell me when I didn't clean his litterbox in the same way. (Even if the other one is clean). It's this loud meow that really sends you to work:)

Allen is SOOOO cute! Doesn't he like to get in bed with you? Or is this all HIS? :D He really is a beautiful kitty.

Actually, The picture was taken with my husband in the bed... the bump behind Allen's head are Grant's legs & feet. Allen will get into bed with my husband and occasionally me, but NOT during the day- unless we humans are taking a nap. He doesn't trust that we won't bump and distrub him! :p

So he sat on top of the dresser being bossy... He was meowing at Grant this morning in the kitchen. Grant asked me what is Allen's problem - he has food, water, the bed is free... crazy kitty.

Allen is so cute.:)

Allen is soooooo adorable.

He is adorable! I just love his THICK PAWS!!!!:)

I just love cats in the bed - and it forces us to wash the sheets more often than we would otherwise, so it's actually good for us!

At night I can hardly roll over because I don't want to disturb Kate! Funny how they take over our lives.

Allen is so cute. His face looks just like my Scout's when she is sleeping.
