I was just sent this letter and I thought I would pass it on.
Hello, my name is Kelly and I'm an Australian journalist who recently
started a worldwide petition to stop animal testing by cosmetic
companies.
I would be honoured if you would kindly sign this petition, and
forward it
on to friends and others.
Dogs, usually beagles because of their gentle nature are restrained
without
anaesthetic and forced to inhale or consmume large doses of lethal
chemicals. This test is called the Lethal Dose 50 , as 50% of animals
will
die painfully within 6 months.
Synthetic human cell tests have proven more reliable and inexpensive,
and
are now used by many companies.
Please put an end to this horrific practice.
