PICS from puppy class!!!
I started volunteering at the humane society of seattle/king county a couple months ago, working in the dog behaviour and socilization (DBS) program, but soon after, I got the opportunity to start helping out in training classes as well! graduation was a couple weeks ago, and I figured Id share the photos! =D there were 3 classes I helped at, Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Next Step, and then the Advanced Class which is prep for the CGC (canine good citizen test) which the dogs take on the last day of class. a few dogs didnt show up on graduation day =( and some of the pics turned out blurred, but you can see the rest in the album. because the lighting was so bad I had to have the aperture really low so the depth of field is really small and theres a lot of blur, and they are pretty grainy, but I got some good ones I think. these are just a few of my faves:

Im helping out in 2 more classes now that started the day after these other 3 ended. lol They are Puppy Kindergarten again, & Beginning Training, which is for older dogs that have never been trained. Its a lot of fun! Id like to take some photos of the shelter dogs sometime too. I was just there for DBS today and there are just so many dogs, its sad. =( And several dogs are stuck 2 to a kennel. I really love the DBS program, because not only does it allow the dogs to get out and exersice and get love, we also work on basic training which is great because it helps make the dogs more adoptable!
