Has your dog been bitten by a snake

or any other critter.

Watson, my dog, has been bitten by a copperhead. he's better now though. when he was bitten he wouldn't even eat his little doggy-treats. :(
has anyone else's dog been bitten??

I personally HATE all snakes...sorry to any of you snake lovers, but this experience is exactly why I am so frightened of them. It is a blessing that dog's handle snake bites much better than human beings.

My parents lost a dog (a little Boston Terrier) to a snake bite once. :( He was just having a nice run in the woods with his mom, Missy, and my dad and brother. And in a minute, it was over. Bad, bad memories for me.

On a lighter note...none of my dogs has ever been bitten by a snake. But I will tell you that snakes have been bitten by Honey, my Golden Retriever and Butter, my ferocious, hunting cat!! Thank goodness, neither of the snakes were poisonous, but I'll bet they wish they had never come in our yard, because they did not make it out! :eek:

Oh that must have been so scary for you! No, Daisy has never been bitten by a poisonous snake. We don't have many poisonous snakes around here anyway, thank goodness! I'm glad Watson is okay.

Logan, so sorry about your parents' Boston! It must have been so hard for all of you.

Thats scary! I hate most snakes. We have copperheads, and another poisonoes snake(I forget the name).
