KAK and I car-pooled to the cat show today and we had a good time. I'm too tired to expand much on it, but we saw gorgeous cats and each bought an expensive treat for our furkids. KAK got some lovely photos that I hope she'll post soon.

Yes, we had a great time. They didn't seem to advertise very much and there weren't a lot of people there which was fine with me. I think that a lot of people may have been recovering from Halloween parties. :)
I was looking for another cat condo because my cats have been fighting over the one they have now. I found a very deluxe blue condo with three tiers. It makes my other cat condo look horrible and it cost me almost the same amount of money.:) I'll start another thread with pics of my cats in it. They love it. :D AmberLee also bought her cats a beautiful cat tree but she couldn't fit it in her car with my cat condo so she'll pick it up tomorrow (Sun.). I'll also be taking some pics of it and post them later.

Here's a very beautiful tabby with aquamarine eyes. It's hard to tell in this pic. She was in the household pets division and won several best all around pet awards. :) She's up for adoption so she's still looking for her forever home.

Here's a very cute Maine Coon kitten. He wasn't in the cat show but was owned by the man and woman that make cat trees. AmberLee bought a cat tree from them. :)

That tabby lookes exactly like my Speckles and that persian kitten is sooooo sweet. Sounds like you had a great time. I'll be watching for the condo pics.
That is a wondeful idea , taking a camera into the Cat Show! I wish that I had photo of the American Curls that I was with , as they were so adorable!
Darn! I missed the cat show! Those pics are too cute and that cat tree! There's a pet shop on Burlingame Avenue that has one of those beautiful trees in the window. I'm sure they aren't cheap .... but xmas is coming. I just wonder if my two would like one - they seem to ignore the ones I have - just use them for scratching. <sigh>
I've found that cat shows usually have better prices for their cat trees than the pet stores do and they're usually better quality too. :)
Okay, after several misadventures today, I've finally gotten it home. Bad news is that KAK and I decided it would be better to photograph the cats with it next Saturday rather than today. (Long story, but she's going to dinner with family later and so much has gone wrong so far I'd hate for it to continue and delay her further...)
Here is a photo of it from the website of the maker. It shows the version with a carpet coyote, I just got the one with round cactus flowers instead. The main cactus is dark green, somewhere between a forest and spruce green. The rounds down the center barrel are somewhere between Old Rose and Burgandy.
Livvy is opposed to this innovation. :rolleyes: :( Cassy ran down the hallway towards it, recognized that SOMETHING was different and crouched down, creeping towards it, his little head a bobbing like one of those toys in the backs of cars... He's tried each of the three arms as perchs now, and has laid on the base and honed his paws on the lower part of the barrel. So far, he approves. Sorry it arrived so late today that we had to reschedule the photo shoot. But some will come, I promise!
AmberLee, I'm glad to hear that it has passed the test for Cassy. Hopefully Livvy will become more comfortable with it and accept it soon. I'd spray it with liquid catnip to help to entice them. :)
I hope to be able to get some great pics on Saturday. :D
That looked like a lot of fun going to a cat show! I have never been to one . I know if one ever comes to abilene , i will go.....that looked like so much fun ! Y ou got so many goodies for your kitty babys too ! I loved all the pictures of all the beautiful cats ! that occicat was soooo pretty ! i would sure like to own one like that !
i would also love that tabby with the aqumarine eyes ! i wish that baby was near by , i sure would adopt it !
