Please Pray for Zack

First of all, let me reintroduce you to Zack. He was rescued by Paws Place in NC several weeks ago. One of the members of the Golden Retriever board saw his picture and immediately wanted to adopt him. Thank goodness for Zack that she did. He has faced so many issues in the short time he has been with her. He was heartworm postive and has been treated for that. He had a terrible skin problem, thus the shaved legs that you will see in the pictures, and now he is suffering from terrible nose bleeds (could be a tumor, but they don't know yet). He needs lots of prayers, as does his loving owner, Quanzhan. Please put your hands/paws together and pray that whatever is causing these terrible nose bleeds is not too serious. He is currently in a critical care unit of a pet ER in Richmond, VA. I will keep you posted.

I wanted to help this boy, either by transporting him to a rescue group, or perhaps keeping him myself. Quanzhan saw him first....she loves him very, very much. Please, pray for his recovery. They are doing everything humanly possible to help him. :(

Oh Logan, this is the so terribly sad. I remember the day of the adoption, and hopes were so high that Zack was on his way to good health and happiness in his new forever home. I can barely look at the photos without tears coming. EXTRA, EXTRA, special prayers will be said for Zack tonight. Oh, dear Zack, please fight. You have a new mommy who loves you so much. Logan, I am so sorry. It would be so unfair, after all that this beautiful boy has gone through, if anything serious should be dealt him. Love and prayers to beautiful Zack and his mom, Quanzhan.

Oh Logan, I remember the story of Zack and the pictures with his new Mom, I am so sorry about his medical problems, you can be sure that I will say a prayer for him and be thinking positive thoughts and will keep Daisy and Perrys paws crossed too. Why does it always seem to happen right when things are going well and just when Zack found a wonderful new Mom and home. I feel so bad for him. Please tell Quanzhan that we are thinking of her and Zack and praying for the best for both of them.

Oh Zack! I am so sorry to hear about this, Logan. Zack has such a sweet and loving face- it's so sad what he has been through. He will definately be in my prayers for some time.
Please let us know how things go, and you all hang in there! We will be thinking of you.

Oh Logan, this breaks my heart. We had such hope that this guy was going to enjoy his golden years in the wonderful luxury of his loving new owner, and now he has to face another hurdle. Who is the patron saint of Animals, St. Francis of Assisi? We may have to call on him.

Will say a prayer for Jake tonight. I hoped he would be doing good in his home. He has had someone love him now and at least he has felt that love. Poor guy.

NOOOOOO! This is awful! I remember his story that you posted when he got adopted. I was so happy he got into a loving home. He will be in my prayers for sure. Poor boy. I am so sad :( :( :( :( :(

Quick update.....
Betty, who originally rescued Zack from the pound, called Quanzhan tonight to see how he is doing. No nosebleeds since this morning, and his appetite is good, and he is drinking lots of water. He's still at the vet, and hopefully will be examined by a specialist tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. We are thinking POSITIVE thoughts. :)Something tells me that he will be ok. But my prayers continue. I'll keep you posted as I know what is going on.

Logan, thank you for that update on Zack. Sure looks hopeful...especially as he is now getting such wonderful, loving care from Quanzhan and the specialist vets.
Zack looks so patient & brave & dignified in the pics. To see him is to love him. I know why Quanzhan fell for him.
Please tell her that people at the downside of the world are thinking of them both & praying that Zack continues to regain his health.

RachelJ, you're right. St Francis is the patron saint of animals. There's a site which has a St Francis e-card which can be sent offering a prayer for a sick pet.

logan i remember when dear zack was rescued.....i am sorry he continues to have opportunities....all paws and hand are put together to pray for his immediate recovery in this house!!!! the deli dog :( ;) think positive!!!!!!
