Oreos Nail!=o(

Hi! My poor puppy (well...15 month old) ripped her nail open yesterday!! Today my mom took her to the vet. while i was at school! i can go pick her up at 7:00pm...i miss her so much!!! The Vet (Dr.Anderson) said that the nail will have to be removed, and he said it MIGHT grow back!:( i hope it does!
Oreo opened her nail open while climbing the fence, she likes to climb the fence leading to our front yard. i think she slipped and it opened up.
You know if you cut a dog's nail to short it will start bleeding? well..that part is on the outside, u can see it! it's pretty gross..but i hope shes ALL better now!!! Dr.Anderson is a very good vet. he is very trustworthy.
Im goin to go pick oreo up in 2 hours with my mom!!! hope shes feeling better!! :) (it's 5:00pm, on Thurs. October 30. 2003)

Thanx everyone! Oreo's now at home and resting! Her paw was bleeding, but not to much. Oreo walks with a limp, and lifts her foot when she is not walking, She is sleeping. We won't let Kayla go around her because than they would play and that's not good! well i got to go! Oreo says thank you to everyone for their postive thoughts towards her!:)

Rocky split his nail a year ago,
and his nail grew back after the vet cut it.

Ouch!!! Poor thing. I hope it heals up fast.

Hi! Oreo's good now! shes in alil pain i believe, but shes happy as a clam. It's just rite now shes scared of the fireworks outside our house, shes hiding under the desk! hehehehe she'll be fine a little while!
