The little girl is roaming around the house meowing her head off and rolling over on the carpet! She just started it yesterday .. its totally different behavior. This morning she went over to Toby and stuck her bum up in the air next to him and started meowing! Needless to say, Toby wasn't at all impressed (or interested) :o
How long will she be like this? We can't get her done until another month.
I believe you're stuck for the next 7-10 days. :eek:

However, she will continue to recycle. Cats don't ovulate until they are stimulated. So they will continually go into heat until they are either spayed or impregnated. Just be really really careful she doesn't get out.

thanks - at least now I have an idea of how long to expect this! It doesn't really bother me that much .. I just don't like that fact that this is bothering her! And I think she doesn't understand why Toby isn't interested in her cause she's always around him doing her "sensuous" poses :o
How are things now Johanna? We experienced that a number of times with Mandy. Hopefully everything will be okay this time and she will get spayed on the 27th. I'm starting to think that she will never get this operation. Something always comes up.

I know how you feel, I've got a foster, Sydney who is in heat as well. She can't be spayed for another 3 weeks till her milk dries up. In the meantime, she's rolling on the floor teasing the boys in my house.
