Best wishes for sweet little Bramble. I'm sure she'll be just fine and will be back to her bouncy self in no time.
Aw, love the nick name Bam Bam :) Hope she's fine, just some extra gentle healing loving needed after the sir-jury.
Good luck, Bramble! We'll be thinking of you sweety.
Dear Bam Bam, I hope everything goes right with your surgery and that you heal quickly with the help of plenty of pets and cuddles.
Good luck Bramble. Sweet Annie goes in on Monday for her op.
Good luck sweet Bramble, here is hoping all goes smoothly with the surgery, and Bramble is back to her healthy , happy self real soon.:)
Bramble, sending prayers and positive thoughts your way for everything to go smoothly with your surgery and for a quick recovery too. Please keep us updated.
Dearest Bramble,
Positive thoughts going to you across the pond. Your mom has had so many heartbreaks I KNOW you will be a cuddlebunny when you come home to heal her heart. Blessed be...give yer mum the cuddles you know you will need. All will be well.
Claudia
Bam Bam is back home and very bouncy. :D
The vet said she must keep her lampshade collar on for 10 days and return to have her stiches out then.
Bramble was jumping around in her carrybox on the 5 minute drive home. When I let her out of the box, she was out of the collar
So I spend 10 minutes trying to pin her down (gently) to retry the collar on...... cats ! !
Proves how well she is feeling.....Yeah :D
I'm so glad that it went well and Bramble is back home! :) Now that she found out she can get out of the collar, she may try again! You better get used to putting it on her. ;)
Best wishes for a speedy recovery! :)
YEAH for Bramble........but I couldn't keep the collar on Bonnie for more than 24 hours.:o
I'm glad that all went well and that Bramble is bouncing. :)
Maybe she would like a pretty pink ribbon on her collar like Juni Rose.
Then again, maybe not.
:D
I'm glad that everything went well for Bramble and that she's now back home again. :) Hopefully she'll leave her stiches alone.
When I was growing up we had a female cat that removed her own stiches. My Mom took her back to the vet to have her stiches removed and they told her that they were already gone. She had taken them out herself. I guess she knew when it was time because she was just fine. I guess that today vets probably put iin dissolving stiches so that they don't need to be removed.
Once the itching stopped (and Juni injured her eye) which was about 2 days, I took the collar off and she left the stitches alone. She still has one stitch left and it will fall off some day. The vet told me that she had done three layers of stitching, so it is unlikely that with the three layers, any harm would come of any chewing after a couple of days.
Juni is fine, fine, fine....and was that way within three days!
Surely hope the same is true for BamBam!
