Dog nicknames!

I've been thinking that our dogs' nicknames would be an interesting topic to start! Someone on a greyhound message board I've posted on started that thread today, and it has received 30+ responses!

Some of you may think I'm wacky, but here goes:

Paula: Goose, Goosie girl, Paula Goose, Goose-da, Paul-ya, Pyaw-ya, Laalla, Miss Priss, Lady Mae, Little Girl, Paula Mae

Buddy: Bud, Bud-man, Boodrow, Buddie-boy, Little Man, My Boy, My Man, Sweet Boy, Bud-a-rific Bud-a-roo, Buddy Roo Roo

Pup: Pup-a-dup, PupPup, Pup-na, Pup-ya, Pup-da, Little One, Sweet P, Pup dot com

Boo: Boo-ya, Boo-da, Yoo-da, Boo-nya, Boo-yala, Booba-Chica, Boo-boo, Boo baby, Crazy Boo, Nutty Boo, Boo girl

Sara: Chewmella, Captain Solanzo, Maniac, Wild Thang, Poopsie-woopsie, Bullet head, Moose-muncher, Harley Hawg Sara Dawg, Pup-Star, Goober, Nose.

Maniac and Wild Thang, were given to her by one of the vet techs.
Harley Hawg Sara Dawg came about when my dad left in search of a Harley and came back with a boxer puppy! :D

Sadie- Sadie May, Missy Lou, Baby Girl, Big Girl, Sweetie, Sweetie Pie, Baby, Honey, Sadie Lou Lou, Miss May, Love Puppy..... the list could go on and on!!!!!

That is a great idea. Here are some of the nicknames we call Drake by.

Draker, Drakster, Drakerpo, Poonie, Drewl machine, fuzy knees, furry friend.

Okay, here is my list - not very long though

Lexi - Lexers, Lexer-mexers, mexers, hunny-bunny, Lexi-loo, Sexy Lexi, Mexer-wexer.... and whatever else might pop out of my mouth.

Sasha - Sash, Sasha-Masha, Mash (our favorite), Masha, Masha-washa

Maddie - Maddie-waddie, Madders, Mad-dog, Psycho, sneaky-butt, Maniac, Spaz, Spazola, FREAK!, Marion Jones (fastest runner on earth), faddie-maddie and plenty more depending on what she is doing!

Graham has many nicknames, and he responds to every one of them:

Cute stuff, angel, angel face, stubble butt, green, greenie, greenie greenie cocoa butt, cocoa butt, cocoa bottom, cocoa buns, gwaham, kid, honey, lickie, main man graham. And he has a couple of songs, first being a take off from the song "shimmie, shimmie cocoa bop" it has turned into "greenie, greenie cocoa butt". The second song is a song I made up, and it's also a partial take off, but I am not sure what the name of the original is...it goes like this "aaaaangel full of cute stuff...cute stuff, angel full of cute stuff...cute stuff..."

Cassie is: doll face, dollie face, wittow bittie girls, wittow smashie, piggalett, puggalett, smashes, princess Cassandra, cassie cakes, princess c, cass a frass, teenie beanie girl.

Ritz is: wild man, mogwai (from gremlins) ritz bitz, ritz man, puff monger, fuzz face, short stuff, snickel ritz.

What a kooky, fun idea! Here goes--promise not to laugh...

Well, I'll do Iris:

Whippet, Isis, I-ri, Gingerbread.

I basically just call her, Iris. Those are names that I sometimes call her, and other people call her.

Gosh I know there is more, but I can't think of any. There are some cute names on these lists!

My dogs' names might be Paula, Buddy, Pup and Boo, but I think they go by Goose, Bud, PupPup, and Boo-ya at least as much as there real names!

Daisy has become: Daze, Daisy Mae (her middle name), Daisy Dog, Daisy Roo (Roo is the sound she makes when she howls), Hound Dog Roo, Houndy-Roo, Houndy, Hound Girl, Yoo (Roo in puppy talk!), Hound Dog Yoo, Yoo-Yoo, Roo, Roobles, Puppy Kisses, Bubboo, Bubboo Gizzles (puppy kisses in very strange baby talk!), Gizzles, Daisy Mae-sy, Good Dog Roo, Good Dog Yoo, Daisy Girl, Good Girl, Best Pet, Best Pet Yoo, Da Best Pet! There are more but I won't bore you with them. Kay Ann, Daisy and I could give Simba and you a good run for your money with all our nicknames!!!

Bella is Bella Baby, Pupster, and when she is bad...Stinkerbell! ;)

My cat Trevor is also known as Mr. Orange Man.

My other cat, Andy, is known as Sweetie Pie or Widdle Andy.
