Happy Chance

I've got a very happy heart today thanks to a few of you here. I went to see and play with Chance today. His back is well enough that he can play with the other dogs now :)

He was so happy go lucky today. Ran a lot. Try as I might, I couldn't get a pic of him running. I took a pic of his paw next to my foot to show you are big his feet are

He was so wiggly today that I had to get one of the kennel people to hold him so I could get this one.

And this one. Notice how he still sits like a puppy. He's so sweet.

And, the guy that held him for the pic brought his English Lab out on the other side so he could potty. I had never heard of English Labs before. They are bigger than regular Labs. He was gorgeous! And Chance wanted to play with him so bad! I saved this one last because it's my favorit.

As much as I'm trying not to, I feel myself getting attached. I hope we find him a good home really soon. Needs to be someone really patient. I sat down in the grass with him today and had him on his back rubbing his belly. That didn't last too long though, he slobbered on my glasses and took off running. He sure is enjoying being a puppy and that's how it should be.

Oh Valerie! He looks so happy. *tears* I'm so glad he's got you! I know that feeling when you know you're getting attached and you feel you shouldn't. It's so good for him, though. He needs someone to be attached to, even though he will have to leave. He needs to feel that connection. :)

He's so handsome! I wish I could come to Florida and get him. :(

Great pictures of a normal happy pup.:D Considering what
he's been through, this is fantastic news. I'll bet he never had
a chance to be a normal puppy. To have a safe place where he
knew he was loved & treated with kindness. He's come a long
way already & now that he can safely play with other dogs, he
should be getting better even faster. I'm glad you called him
"Chance" because it seems that's all he really needed, a real
chance at a happy life. I think he's beautiful.:D

Oh my gosh.. He's soooo adorable.
I wish I could be the one to help him, I really do. :(

I've been wondering about how he was doing. I'm glad to hear he's doing great, and he looks so wonderful in those pics. I hope he finds his forever home soon.

What a wonderful update, Valerie!!!! Chance is getting the opportunity he deserves. I hope he will find a home soon. :)

Oh Valerie!!!:) Look at that happy, happy puppy!! He's looking so much better! And what better a playmate than a sweet, goofy, Labbie:D I'm not surprised to hear you're getting very attached to him. He's just the sweetest boy! Thank you for all you are doing for him Valerie! He's one of the lucky ones:) I hope you gave him that hug for me!!
