*Photos* Orca Whales & other Northwest wildlife

My aunt and her boyfriend who live in Las Vegas have been visiting the last few days. Thursday was my parents anniversary so I got the day off work and the five of us took a boat from Bellingham, WA, through the San Juan Islands, to Victoria, BC. We were lucky enough to see one of the San Juan's resident orca pods. :) They were so beautiful! Here's some pics, I'll post some other pics from the trip in another post. Thanks for the compliments everyone! :D We also saw at least 6 or 7 porpoise, but they were so quick it was nearly impossible to get a photo of them :(

Lindsey, the photos are gorgeous! We've got whales and dolphins and harbor seals here on the Cape too, so you'll feel right at home when you get here!;)

You were in Victoria and didn't tell me!!!!!!!!!!!! That whale your dad posed with is outside a store that is literally a block away from my work.. did you go inside The Bay Centre at all? (Used to be called Eaton's Centre). I was working on Thursday.. you should have come seen our museum :)

The reason's the Canadian flags were all at half mast was in respect of the victims on Sept 11.. just in case you were wondering :)
