I just checked the DOD page, and did a double-take when I saw that cute puppy face looking at me!
I had no clue this was coming - our computer at home was hit by the Nimda virus last week, so we haven't have Internet or e-mail at home. This is such a welcome surprise, though!

Our Pup, our Pup....I recognized you right away. Of course everybody else beat me to this page, but you know it is a GREAT DAY when one of our own holds the HIGH HONOR of being Dog of the Day. Pup we are so proud of you and know your mom has to be beaming. That is such a sweet picture of you. I'm glad the whole world gets to see your pretty face today. When I first pulled this up, I got sidetracked. When I actually looked up, I thought, why does that dog look familiar? Again, I went back to what I was doing. Then I read the story. Congratulations, Pup. I never knew your story. You were one lucky pup to find someone who could open their heart and also had the finances to make you better. Enjoy your day, little one.
