This one hasn't been done in a while... Who would you invite (living, dead, a character...) to a dinner party at your house and why?

I'll start:
Morgan Freeman-amazing actor

John Irving-my favorite writer

Idgie Threadgoode-favorite character, from Fried Green Tomatoes

John Lennon- I was too young to really understand

Jodie Foster-because she's had such an interesting life

Alan Parsons (the musician)- because he's a genius

My grandfather-because he died before I was born.
