Pics of Puppies *Not* Eating

My babies want to stay on the bottle forever. This is attempt number 2 at trying to get them to eat their "mush" (Esbilac mixed with canned puppy food). I always have to try it with them in a box because the mess is unbelievable at the end.

At first it seemed like they would eat. Piper even took a few slurps.

Sebastian started screaming and crying and looking around for me and the bottle.

Then Piper joined in the screaming and crying.

Then Sebastian decided to actually take a few slurps too...

...And decided he wanted the bottle afterall!

I stopped taking pictures at that point because I went to go make them some bottles. When I got back, they had the whole plate of food spread all over the box and themselves. Needless to say, they got their first bath tonight.

Oh heavens! Silly little things. Kind of like how I never want to move away from home, grow up, get a job....do any of that stuff! Who wants to leave the cushy life!

I can imagine their distressed puppy screams are quite shrill and unnerving. That would be hard on me, I know.

The size difference is quite obvious in these pictures!

Now kids, realize you won't be on the bottle forever, but "milk" Aly for all she's worth! Heeheehee!

What a mess but how cute! I'm sure they'll start to want real food soon. It's great of you to let us see them growing up. I'm glad they've got this good chance in life.

Aly they are sooooo cute!! Piper is so incredibly tiny! Or is Sebastian just really big? Oh, what a mess to clean up. Hopefully they’ll start eating their mush soon. I know that’ll be 100 times easier on you!

Aly, they are so adorable! You are so lucky to see them going through their lives, growing up! It must be quite an experience, you must learn a lot, because I don't see too many people bottle feeding pups! We would love to see some more pics of them!
