One of the girls on "For the love of Dogs" is getting this Giant Schnauzer, she was waiting for a puppy, but the breeder asked if she would like to have "Josie" who is 15 months old. I am so jealous, is she beautiful or what?

Oh Karen, I would give anything to have a Giant like that. What a beauty, this girl and her husband own a longhorn cattle ranch in Texas and they have another Black Giant named Falon too. She was going to get a puppy but jumped at the chance of getting this 15 month old. I think I would miss the puppy breath. LOL

Josie is beautiful! I watched the Breed All About It about Schnauzers the other day. They had giants, standards, and minis all next to each other. It was cute.

What a beautiful dog Jackie! I just looked up giant standards and it looks like they get even bigger than standard poodles. That is one beautiful dog!
wow!!! i see why you are jealous....what a beautiful dog!!! i think that giant schnauzers and standard poodles get short changed alot...they are wonderful,strong,beautiful dogs.....the deli dog ;) :)

What a beauty. I didn't realize until about a year ago that Giant Schnauzers are used (especially in their home country of Germany) as police dogs, tracking dogs, and guard dogs. Thanks Jackie for sharing the pretty poochie!
