My mom came through her heart surgery! :-)

My mom is ok! :D :D :D Thanks SO much to everyone who prayed for her!

She had to have two valves repaired, an artery by-passed, and a hole in her heart repaired. I'm astounded that someone could survive a surgery like that, but she up eating and walking a little bit yesterday. Wow.

Wonderful news!!! My grandfather went through an especially difficult open heart surgery and so I prayed extra hard for your mother. I too am amazed by modern surgery and medicine. Please continue to keep us updated on her healing. :D

WONDERFUL news! It must be such a relief for your family! When my aunt was going through heart surgery about 2 years ago, my heart was beating so hard, and we were so concerned and didn't know what to expect. I remember not being able to sleep that night, so I got up at like 3 am and prayed for her surgery to be successful. Thank God, her surgery was a complete success, and she's still be happy, joyful aunt today. :)

My father has had several heart surgeries and has always pulled through, in fact he is due for another shortly, just had "stints"? put into his arteries.
