Something that made me happy today (pix)

Today, I found my two girls peacefully sleeping on the table together! :) First I wasn't sure if Luna was really aware of Lily being so close, but when she woke up, she didn't mind her company. Earlier today, she whacked her when Lily was eating and for a second time when the baby wanted to join her cat-nip-session...

BTW, Lily tries to suckle now, but Luna doesn't like it! :)

Well thanks for making me happy today too! I'm so glad their begininng to get along better. I love the one of Luna pondering- she's figuring that life with Lily won't be so bad!

By any chance would you happen to have any sprigs of the "ficus lily" that you could send over here? ;) ;)

The pictures are absolutely great and I am glad that Luna is slowly adjusting to having a little sister.

There is no doubt in my mind that it is much easier to integrate kittens with grown cats, than grown cats with grown cats. No wonder many people want a kitten, rather than an older kitty! Oh well.

Such great pictures Kirsten! All yours fears about them not getting along should have vanished by now! They are going to make such good companions, once Lily grows up. Luna will fall in love with her, in the meantime.

By the way, Juni is terrible with begging from my food dishes. Maybe its a kitten thing!

Yes, I'm really happy that things developed so great here. Of course Luna still growls and hissed sometimes, but she also has her friendly moments - and they play a lot together now and chase each other, and I'm sure it's not only Lily who has her fun! :)

BTW, Luna was never interested in my food, not even as a kitten!

Awwww, so adorable, I'm happy for you that they get along so much better already :) That picture of them sleeping together is precious.

I can assure you that the interest in human food is NOT only a kitten thing. There are plenty of days when I have to fight three of the cats off so I can eat my own meal.

Yesterday I decided to work from home and I made myself some microwave popcorn. I opened the bag to let it cool down a little while I was in the washroom. I came back and low and behold little Miss Emily was so very delicately fishing out individual kernal or popcorn and eating them :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Awwww....I knew Luna would soften up and fall for the sweet little Lily. :D I'm so glad it's sooner rather than later though. :D

They are so cute together -and they look as if they were mother and daughter.

The food thing can't just be kitten. A 7 year old gentleman named Filou is always on the table and steals from his daddy's plate. His nawteemeowmie kicks him off.:eek:

I'm glad Luna and Lily are getting along better. That is about as close as Felicia and Beau will lay and they have been together for 11 years.

Sometimes I wonder if they get along better when I'm not there and they are not competing for my attention.

I think Lily and Luna will be best buds in no time. Them sleeping together on the table is really funny.
