Camping with Kia *PICS*

A couple of weekends ago, Andy, Kia, and I drove up to Tawas State Park in East Tawas, MI, where my parents had been camping for the past 2 and a half weeks.

We spent Friday thru Sunday there.... Kia had a blast! :)

If you notice how dark the sky is in the background..... a thunderstorm was blowing in..... after we took these pics we had to run back to the trailer and made it just in time.... Had heavy rain, high winds, lightning, and hail! :eek:

But earlier that day it was sunny and we were in downtown East Tawas for the Classic Car Show. We also made a stop by the pier. :)

Beautiful pics, Kim!! Kia looks stunning, as always!:) And you gotta love those shots of Kia with her Dad and Mom! What a great place to camp; you all look so happy:) Is the state park on Lake Michigan?? Post more if you have them!

Lake Huron. :)

It was great being there again. I hadn't camped there since I was a teen. I'll dig out some more pics and I took video. :)

More great pics, Kimmy! I love the photos of the threatening skies! Almost looks like the sky before a tornado!:eek: I'm glad you came through the bad weather unscathed. The picture of Kia in the "back seat" is precious! And the one with your Dad's feet "on fire!!" Well, you've definitely sold me on Lake HURON!! And made me hungry for toasted marshmallows!:rolleyes: And..."A happy time was had by all!:D (Glad you got to sneak Kia onto the beach!)
