Pixel might be getting a little brother!

Our Pixie has clearly been bored lately. These are her latest exploits:

1) Unravelling her ball of wool and draping it around the room
2) Overturning a vase and spreading its contents up and down the stairs
3) Eating my ear phones
4) Chewing my phone charger cord in half

Bearing this in mind, I mentioned to Scott that Pixel could really do with a playmate, in a purely hypothetical sense. He surprised me by responding that "yeah, that would actually be a good idea."

Our body corp says only one small pet, but as both will be indoors it won't matter. We will have to also gain approval from our landlord :eek:

So, it *may* be all systems go for cat number 2 who will be a little boy!!!

Cool! I think this will help Pixel settle down better.

ooooh how fun! Can't wait to see what happens :)

He is not 100 percent convinced, especially after tonight.

I had kitchen duty and he had Pooper Scooper duty. Pixel waited until he was finished to plant the Big One.

"Darling," I called, "she's done another poopy, can you scoop it out."
"Sure," he says, sticking his head through the door of the kitty litter. Two seconds later I hear "ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!" and he comes running out of the laundry red faced. "That's not cat poo, that's a WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION!" as his parting comment.

So, there's a few challenges ahead ... he does agree that Pixel would be much better behaved if she had a mate to to kick around with ....
