Aava, the beautiful
Mew, Congratulations Aava on being DOTD. You have such a sweet & beautiful face and you look very smart too. I hope your family takes the opportunity to give you lots of tummy rubs when you sleep upside-down! You are an original thinker -- hiding your baked potato in a shoe!
Courageous, loving and protective of her family = a very special dog! Live long & healthy, happy, loved & cherished...
Have a wonderful day filled with love, attention & extra cookies. KatMa sends you 100,000 hugs, kisses & tummy rubs too -- and I send head bumps, nose twinkies and kittykisses.

CONGRATULATIONS AAVA!
What a stunning beauty you are Aava, just look at those eyes of yours!
I just had to laugh when your human says you fake pee to get a cookie:D Don't tell my girls that, they just might try it;)
Again, congratulations for being our beautiful Dog of the Day!!!!

Oh Aava! I LOOOOVE Vizlas. And you, ya big rust colored doggie, are just perfect for today's DOTD!
Aava, I wish you and your friend Mr. B. Potatoe, all the cookies and hidey holes in the world today. (Hopefully, you won't have to fake pee to get 'em! ;) )
Congrats! Enjoy your day in the sun!

Oh Aava, that gorgeous coat, those eyes! wow. Hey I'd hide a baked potato in a shoe too-baked potatoes need butter and sour cream and bacon bits-you're just waiting until someone jazzes it up a bit for you, right? Congrats on DOTD!

Gorgeous Aava
Why, Aava, you are simply gorgeous. Your coat resembles soft suede, and I can see by the size of your paws that you are going to be a big girl. Your human companions must love you to death!
-
Aava, I am learning about more dog breeds here. I haven't heard of your breed, either, but you sure are pretty and cute! I love the baked potato in the shoe trick. How did you think to do that? You sound like you're very smart, also, having learned all those commands already. Congrats on being our DOTD :)

Aava is a little doll, she looks so prim and proper with her harness on. I have been flipping back and forth to her picture all day because of her precious little face. She looks like she's about to start speaking in human words any minute.

Oh Aava, you upside down sleeping little potato thief!!:D What a cutie pie you are; and a most beautiful cutie pie at that!! I was laughing and smiling non stop as I read your bio! Not only are you drop dead gorgeous, but you've got personality to spare! I think it's fair to say that with you on board, your family is in for many, many years of love, laughter and happiness!! What a very deserving and most adorable Dog of the Day you are! Congratulations to you adorable Aava! I don't think you're going to have to "fake a pee" to get those treats today!!:D You are too cute!:)
-
That perky, inquisitive face won me over this morning, Aava!!! Then I read of your love for peanut butter!!! Me too!!!! :o I think you can afford those extra calories much more than I can!!! I just hope that you get lots of things you love today, whether they be peanut butter treats or baked potatoes!!! You deserve them all!!! Congratulations, sweetie, on being a perfect Dog of the Day!!!! :D

WOW
You guys must be kidding..."fake pee"..can a dog reason that?
Aava you are so pretty, I hope we get to see pics of you when you are full grown, I've never heard of you breed either, so I will go off to look, as soon as I leave the forum.
My dogs like baked potatoes also, but they wouldn't last to long as a toy, except to the little ones.

Yes, Janice, they sure can. My dog actually uses the "fake dump" to stall for time on our walks. He'll do the tell-tale sniffing around in small circles, look as though he's about to do the deed, and then -- change his mind! And then he goes off to sniff the bushes he really wanted to investigate in the first place. It drives me nuts! Sneaky bugger....

WELL
That is so COOL. Maybe I've been snowed and didn't know it. I just thought when my dogs did that they weren't quite ready. It's just like trying to get your dog to take a drink of water. If they are not thirsty that's it. I can get them to lick my fingers, but I am sure it is to get my fingers out of their face, or they feel sorry for the poor human......
:D
