Saying hello

Hi Everyone!
I'm Connie and I just joined your group!I hope I'll hear from some of you fellow animal lovers?!:) Love to hear about your pets,yourself ect.My bunny Sweetpea is 4 yrs. old,a mixed breed.I got her from the HouseRabbit Society.She is my best friend and a real sweetie.She is grey with a white stripe on her nose,white spot,off centered on her chest and white tips on her toes.Lucky my Cockatiel is a grey.Don't know how old he is as I found him in my backyard 9/10 yrs. ago.He wasn't hand-raised,as he bites ect. you can't handle him.

Hi! Welcome to PT! I'm sure you'll fit right in here! Your pets sound like sweeties. Actually, cockatiels don't have to be handfed to be tame. Even the wildest of cockatiels and be tamed and become the sweetest babies ever! You just need to spend time with them and work on taming. Once they get over the fear, they stop biting. I don't know if it would be easy to tame your tiel at this age, but you could always try. :) Have you tried taming him properly before?

I have two cockatiels, Popcorn and Muffin, and they are the light of my eyes. They weren't handfed, but they were babies when I got them, so it didn't take more than a few days to tame them. Now they are SO sweet and cuddly, and the perfect clowns. :) You can see them in my signature btw. :)

Hi and welcome to Pet Talk! Your gonna love it here! We would love to see pics of Sweetpea and Lucky! They sound wonderful!

My name is Julie and I am owned by 2 dogs, Daisy a 1.5 year old female golden retriever, and Molly a 2.5 year old female, sable and white rough collie. They are both in my signature. :)

I also have 2 cats, Angel, 4-5 year old female, longhaired tabby mix, and Dillian, 3-4 year old male, shorthaired tabby mix. :)

I also have a golden teddy bear (syrian) hamster named Neko, hes a couple months old. I also have 6 desert tortoises!

Once again, WELCO0ME TO PET TALK! :D :)

I have 3 cats: Leonardo, Luke, and Chester but have always loved all animals and have had a wide assortment over the years. I love bunnies!!!

Thank you for your welcome and your advice!Your birdies are beautiful and its' great that they are so tame and loving.Love to hear more about them and you?Whats' your name?I'm Connie.Anyway,my Lucky is tame enough, but he just dislikes being handled must.When I found him in my garden he was very scared and it took a long time to get him to trust me.No one claimed him and he sure wasn't looked after very well.I have had him for 9 yrs. and he is a happy bird today.I should tell you about my 16 yr. old house-sparrow that I owned once,but maybe another time?
I must go now,I hope you'll drop me a line again and we can chat animals ect.?
I will try to figure out how to do the photos sometime soon!I am rather new to this computer stuff,self taught and still learning,but its' great!

Welcome to pet talk! I am also in love with a bunny, my 10 month old Holland Lop mix Julian, he is the love of my life along iwht my otehr animals, Nova my lab mix, age unknown, and my 4 wonderful ratties, Melony, Hope, Tundra and Brook. A cat named Misty also lives in my house, she is my fathers and I am also owned by 4 gold fish, 1 betta, 2 Guppies and 1 dalmation (fish).

You will also hear me talk of my other pets, who live with my mother. My moms Sheltie and there cat Hoss. My sister then who is moving soon has a Pomeranian Honey 2 cats, a Oscar, a Sucker, a cat fish and a Chameleon, Peaches.

LOL, I think that is everyone.

Thank you so much! Yep, I cant live without animals! There my life....:) Yes, I want to be a vet. I'm going to a high school next year that specializes in introductory to veterinary medicine. (animal program) Then from there onto U.C Davis...hehe..I hope to hear more on Sweetpea and Lucky! :D :)

Hello and welcome! As you've already seen this group is great, and pretty talkative! ^.^ My menagerie consists of six ratties, a Hognose snake, a mouse, and two dogs and a cat that are the whole family's. I used to have rabbits, they're such wonderful pets!! If nobody else has mentioned it yet...we love pictures!! *hinthint* Sweetpea sounds like a beauty!!
