I don't remember the day I got Axle, but I know today is really close to that day, so I'm gonna make today Axle's 3rd BIRTHDAY!!! YAY to My big baby :)

My last common snapping turtle "Sniper" wsa 4yrs old & was 1 pound or less. & Axle is 3 yrs old & is 10 pounds or more!!!

WoW! I don't know how I missed your Birthday Axle... :o I'm so sorry! I certainly hope you had a terriffic one.... You've come a LONG way in 3 years!

Ottoman appearance-one of those overstuffed footstools nice and poofy and comfy!

So thats how u spell Ottoman, now I know what it is, just never seen the word before, I thought it was auto-man.. hehehe

During the summer he put on alot of weight, mostly fat, cause he eats almost nothing during the winter. I turn off his heater so he can go into a simi-hybernation. a full hybernation would mostlikely kill him, & not hyernating would cost me way too much $$ in food & heating his pond, & he gets cranky when he's not simi-hybernating, & boy do I mean cranky. He gets all hissy, doesn't snap, he'll hiss open his mouth to hiss louder & then I close his mouth & he'll just hiss... Axle's hisssss is very different from a cat or a snake. Its more like deep breathing, people can do it to through our noses.
