she was abandoned @ a vet clinic i used to work @ about 1 yr ago.
her jaw had been broken or born that way b/c she has a "crooked" smile.....maybe that's where her nickname "mob boss" came from;)
she was bounced from the clinic to 3 other homes and back to the clinic b/c of behavior problems.....no one wanted her
in fact she was getting ready to be EUTHANIZED!!!!!!
so i took her...for better or worse i said:)
and believe it or not she's a new kitty
i think she knew she was home for good:)

Thank you for the pictures of adorable Clara and welcome to Pet Talk. You are an angel for giving her a forever home. I fear she may have been abused (that could explain her behavior problems with the earlier owners.) Please let us see more of her and your other furbabies.

For us ldtimers , Clarabelle was the clown on the Howdy Doody show , played first by future captain Kangeroo , Bob Keeshan. And although your Clarabelle doent use a seltzer bottle , like nearly all Cats , she has more than a bit of the clown in her!
