Chief got his title!

My best friend's german shepherd, Chief, got his Protection Dog (PD) and Obedience Protection Dog (OPD) titles on Sunday!

My friend said that somebody there said that she is the youngest person to get both of these titles on a dog in one day. I don't know how true this is but it does look kind of funny, this 12 year old girl (and she's short for her age) with this 100 pound german shepherd trained to attack on command - and she trained him herself, with the help of her trainer of course.

I'm not quite sure all that Chief had to do to get these titles yet, but it's a big achievement!

Congratulations to Chief!!! I am so impressed. It doesn't matter how big or little the person, GSDs know who they love and who they will do anything for! What DID Chief have to do for this title? I never heard of this one. Did he earn it in Illinois? Do you have a pic of Chief?
My husband trained our first GSD to attack on command (there's a long story there, no cruelty or harm, kinda funny). Killian is a natural protector, only mean in the face of extreme danger or an intruding barbeque grill (another funny story)!

I'm not quite sure what Chief had to do to get the titles. I think some obedience (probably pretty close to the AKC Novice exercises) and then some "protection stuff". I'm not sure what that all includes. I'll ask her next time I see her. Yes, he got the title in Illinois. I'm not sure where though.
