Anal Glands?

Hi, my dogs' been rubbing his bum on the grass. I heard that is anal gland problems...
anyone know what else it could be?:confused:

It's most likely anal glad problems.

My cat has that issue, lol, we get him treated at the vet for a good squeezing. :o

Yes, it could possibly be anal glands, or it could also be worms.

yea it sounds like anal glands...unless it is worms but I don't think it could be anything too serious. When was the last time your dog was dewormed? Just have your vet check it out...because just in case it is worms, you don't want it to get too bad.

My dog has to get his glands expressed once every 2 1/2 weeks. He has actually gotten used to seeing the vet to have this done and actually get's excited when I say the vet's name :D I was told that I could do it myself, but I opt to pay the $8 to have the professionals do it.

I know there is a surgery that can be done, but there is the possibility that the problem can worsen. Has anyones dog had this surgery done. I would love some feedback.
