Basie got his birthday present!!! :)

Guess what we got today????

Basie really wanted a kitten for Micah to play with, you know, so Basie would have me all to himself. ;)

The woman who is helping me catch Gracie has 15 kittens that were born from ferals she's caught. About six of them are still with mommy....adorable!!! I took David to see them today and we brought one home for Micah. ;)

Her first name is Abigail...middle name is still being thought out. We have a bible theme going, but her first name means "God is Joy".

She's 7 weeks old and had another littermate. He was a doll too, but David fell in love with her as soon as he saw her.

She's in her kennel for now, I think she feels safer in it right now. She's a feral baby, but Carol (woman who rescued her) said she's made huge progress in the four days she's had her. She's pretty calm, but is a little intemidated right now. We have her in our room with some classical music playing so she can rest up. :)

What a little beauty! I'm sure Micah will just love playing with his sweet little tabby sister. :D

Oh you guys....she's so cute! I don't think I've ever had a kitten that purred at that young of an age! I went in to see her and opened the kennel. She got up and went for her food. (I seem to have that effect on the new cats.)

She then stretched and looked at me, almost to say, "OK, petting time!!". :) I pet her sweet face and tummy....she's so cute!!! :D

OK....we figured out her name for sure, she's now Hermoine Abigail Cotte. :)

Hermione is pronounced her-MY-oh-nee. :)

The name totally fits...she's an absolute doll!!!
