You are a beautiful little cat Gracie. How could anyone have mistreated you? You look like the kitty in the cat food commercial who eats out of the crystal glass. I'm sorry you lost your friend Mrs Grace; I bet you miss her a lot.

Some sadness in today's story. But for Gracie, laying on the table and surveying her wonderful world must be incredible happiness..
Dear Little Miss Gracie. Today you truly grace our Sunday with your beauty, your spirit and your incredible determination. Imagining you suffering the indignities of your horrific past life brings tears to my eyes. And aren't you the "Daddy's Girl!":) It doesn't surprise me one bit that you've got him wrapped around your precious paw! (Crystal dinnerware, no less!:)) And Gracie, while it made me sad to hear of her passing, I know your beloved guardian angel, your rescuer and mentor, Mrs. Grace, is looking down from Heaven this very day, so proud to see her beautiful girl Gracie honored here today! Congratulations to you beautiful Little Miss Gracie. You are so very worthy of the title Cat of the Day! Love and hugs to you on your special day!! What a beautiful cat you are, Little Miss Gracie! I'm glad you're there to comfort your "pawpaw" and be spoiled by him. It's so heartwarming to see a story like this, it restores my faith in the kindness of *some* humans. Someone uses a quote from Heinlein mentioning how you treat a cat here below will affect your status up above. Well, I think your Meowmie passed!
Miss Gracie, we all agree, you are absolutely regal and totally wonderful. We send paw applause to your wonderful Daddy for saving you and giving you such a special home and so much love! From rags to riches for sure, and you are certainly deserving, sweet girl!!! Catgratulations - you are a special Sunday Cat of the Day! Stay happy, purrrecious!

Gorgeous Little Miss Gracie, how wonderful you're now a spoiled "Daddy's Little Girl," just as you deserve! I was saddened to read of your past, but quickly delighted to read of your truly wonderful present "life of luxury." I can tell your Daddy brushes your coat everyday--it's PURR-fect! I also enjoyed re-reading your beautiful cousin, Obelisk's COTD nomination from last year! Congratulations, Little Miss Gracie!
I'm so sorry of your loss--I lost my best friend, my Mom, to the same tragic disease. However, like "Jax" wrote, this Memorial Day weekend is a nice remembrance for your Loving Rescuer, Mrs. Grace, and all other caretakers like her... and as "Tatsxxx11" posted, Mrs. Grace is now watching over you from Heaven and is SO PROUD to see you honored today on COTD! We LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Miss Gracie, you are so gorgeous! But then how could I not love a cat that has the same name as my mom? Lol. Sadness in your story but now things are good! Glad to see you on pet of the day!
Little Miss Gracie, your sweet face caught my eye. I'm so glad you're well loved and appreciated now. What a hard life you've had! I'm sure Mrs. Grace is very happy you're doing well. She's bound to be your guardian angel in the afterlife as well.
I, too, had a Persian that I loved. He lived for 15 years. I hope you give your dad all the happiness you're getting. You were a great Cat of the Day! :D
Oh look at you Miss Gracie - you are just magnificent!! What well groomed fur, yes your Dad is very talented and obviously works hard to keep you looking your very best. You deserve it baby after your bad start.
Crystal bowls? Now we don't have crystal bowls. Perhaps we are not being looked after as well as we could be.
