Hehe, i saw this on the news last night :) ;)
:D My mom has a newspaper clipping (dated 1970-something?) of a two-headed calf.
Goodness, they should name him Zaphod! :)
What a neat discovery, Paul! Thanks for sharing that article!!! Helen's response was "cool"!! She has always wanted a turtle.....maybe one day.

I think that's pretty cool, but I don't understand why they didn't leave it in the pond. When I was growing up I used to find turtles and other animals out in my pasture (we had a small lake in the back) and my dad would never let me keep any of them because he said it wasn't fair to take them from their homes.
interesting......
That is really neat and sweet! I would love to catch a two-headed turtle!
At the small museum by our cottage, they had a 6 legged piglet! It died shortly after birth. :( That was a pretty neat looking animal.
Sure it's not two turtles stuck in one shell?:D  Too cool!! Youfind the neatest things, Paul!
I would assume because they didn't want it to fall victim to predators, not being able to pull its heads into its shell like a normal turtle would.Quote:

I'm glad someone saved that poor little turtle. Two-headed critters really freak me out, though. When I was a small child, my grandparents took me to this museum in Kansas that had, among other horrifying oddities, a stuffed two-headed calf. I had nightmares for years, literally. I've also seen a two-headed lizard. Creepy, creepy, creepy.
Now, the things with extra legs don't really bother me. I saw a picture of a four legged duck once ... that wasn't too creepy.
But very cool! You'd have to rescue the poor thing, especially if it couldn't retract it's heads!
