Jump Fishy!

Does anyone know how to teach a beta fish how to jump?:confused: I have one and I read that their supposed be jumpy fish! :rolleyes:

the reson they are called the "jumpy fish" is because they often like to jump right out of their tansk and land on the floor or desk, they end up dieing their if not found.

I have never had this happen befor. but it does happen.

My betta is in a 20 gallon with a lid so he cannot get out. ;)

i dont think u have to teach them, my first betta jumped out of her tank and died before i could get to her! :(

I've had bettas all my life, and have never had one jump out. However, one time at petsmart I saw one jump out, but it was rescued. Besides, they are only in a few inch tall cups.

I read the same thing or at least it said that Beta fish were jumpy.. but it did not mean that you could teach them too jump it ment that they moved around alot and the sometimes jerked. Hope that solves ure prob!
