I found a dog park!!! :D <pics>

I'm always complaining that there's no dog parks around here, lol. Well there is one...and I've known about it for a while...my sister used to live near it. It's a good 45 minutes away though, and I didn't know how to get there, so this was my first visit (made my dad take me hehe).

Nebo has never been to a dog park, so I was a bit paranoid. The first dog we met was a huge fat great dane, and it kind of scared Nebo. Then we walked in a little farther, and I still had him on a leash....a bunch of dogs ran up and circled us, and Nebo growled at them....that scared me....but I think he was just nervous.

After I took him off the leash, he was fine though! He had a blast running and playing with all the other dogs!! I'm totally going to drive up there again in a few weeks and take Lady too. :D

Awww, I love Nebo pics. I'm glad you found a dog park for him to play in. It looks like he had a great time. I bet he was pooped when you got home :)

Amy, most dogs will growl if they are on a leash and the other dog(s) are not.

Yeah, Reggie is a lot worse with other dogs if he's on a leash. Nebo's never really acted like that with other dogs, whether he's on a leash or not.......but I think this situation was different, and I do think he felt cornered.

There is Nebo showing off those gorgeous baby-blues! :D Great pictures! That butt-sniffing one was too funny :D. I know how you feel, I want to take Mickey to this dog park in back of my house but I don't know how he'll react with the other dogs. Some are triple his size :eek:

I love the dog park near our house. It's about a half mile away and it is such a godsend. I mean, Bailey is high energy and we live in an apartment, so it's great to let her burn off energy and socialize with all the other doggies.

Nebo is sooooo cute. I wish I could get Bailey to pose for pics like that. :D

AHHH! dang nebo is SO CUTE!!! I love the closeup pics!!! CUTIE! And hooray for finding a dog park!! I love going to the dog park with my friend. We are lucky to live close to a really awesome one too.
