*Jewels is sick* :(

She is having diarea like crazy, its just pooring out of her (sorry to be gross..) :( So I didnt give her food all day yesterday.
But Today she could barely walk and was dragging her back legs behind her, i freaked out and brought her strait to the vet. They said it was probibly something she ate, and then i remembered I had given her a dog treat my friend made for her! I'm guessing that is what made her sick, but im so scared. Thankfully She can walk now, but is still quite sick. I hope everything turns out ok. Im going to bring her to the vet again tomorrow.:(

Oh no!!! I'm so sorry to hear about Jewels...I hope she gets better...:)
Just make sure she gets lots of water so she doesn't become dehydrated. I'm glad that you took her to the vet. ;)
Did your friend say what was in the treat? :confused:

Find out the ingrediants to the treat. I hope Jewels gets better soon and that it isn't too serious. Good for you for taking good care of little Jewels. :)

It was a treat she baked herself.. I also called my friend, asked her what the ingrediants were, and showed them to the vet. nothing bad in it... she probibly just had a bad reaction (if thats what got her sick) :(

p.s. she got the recipie out of a dog magazine:(

Poor little Jewels...:( I'm glad to hear she's doing better. Perhaps the treat was just a little too rich for her tummy. Please let us know how she is doing and give her a gentle hug for me, ok?
