It's good to see turtle pics on here! Everytime I go to take pictures of my turtle, he goes in his shell. Apparently, the big camra is a little intimadating to him.:( Maybe I'll catch him off guard one of these days.

thanks guys :)
when his tummy gets better I'll take god pics of it... it looks really nice when the shell is white with brown/black lines & his skin is a bark colour

Oh!! Axle is the most beautiful turtle I ever saw! So cute!
Does he let you pet him? Is he staying inside all year? And is he also "hibernating"(spelling???)
Lots of questions, hey;)
Oh btw, Cadeau is gorgeous too! I love that name:)

Thanks Lut :)
Yes Axle lets me pet him, as long as he's out of water. I will put a thick blanket under his butt (cause he pees BIG) sit him on my lap (if he's willing to stay still) & I'll rub his chin, libs, top of his head & his neck... hes loves his chin & lips rubbed the most... when I first take him out of the pond, he closes his eyes & refuses to open them for about 20 mins, but if I rub his chin & lips he'll be super active right away :)
Yes he stays indoors all year... its too dangerous to leave him outside... with my luck I stray dog would attack him & by leaving him outside it would put more wild into him & I want to keep him as tame as I can...
No he doesn't go into 100% hybernation... I turn off the heater when it hits 0C outside... all that does to him is slow him down (whick looks super funny when he swims, *moves one leg 5 seconds later moves another leg*... it also helps my wallet, he'll eat once a month (if that much)...
Cadeau isn't my dog, she belongs to my landlords, but shes a fairly good dog (not very smart, but shes good)
