I've tried those and the cat beds and the cat trees and neither one of my cats would even go near them. They prefer the couch, or the bed or the chair....
Fortunately my local cat shelter found a home for the high-priced presents...
LOL, i don't have one, though I think if I did Mozart would never leave it.. he loves things like that. I may have to check the petstore for one of those soon!
I've got 2 of those kitty tunnels. They play with it occasionally. But for the most part they don't bother. I'm sure if I put them away and then brought them out again later, spraying catnip on them, they'd go wild.
I had 2 cat trees in my room. When I moved one of them in front of the picture window of my kitchen, they have been hanging around it since.
I've been told that if you take away kitty toys and then bring them out again, the cats don't know the difference.
My Snowy loves his.
But here's what it takes:
I use a pen (with a feather on it -not required)and move it all around the outside. (I have two tunnels and connector)
Snowy just loves to race around and try and get the moving thing.
But, Snowy has taken the pen somewhere and races are stopped until he returns the pen.:p
The problem that i find is that these things are designed for the Humans , not the cat. I bought a cat tree , tent , beds and its only the fact that there are 14 Cats , that these things get any use at all. youre better off , if you use cardboard lke Lut , then you dont become angry if they inore them!
Cute pics!! I made one of those cat tunnels from a long cardboard tube. Kitties like it ok, but they don't use it like the ferrets do. The ferts love their tunnels. I second what catmandu said, cardboard. My cats have a fascination with cardboard. Scout likes to shred it, Bixby loves to sit inside the boxes, and Gigi loves climbing cardboard boxes. Cost is nothing and when it gets ratty, I toss it.

Lut....maybe I'll have to lend it to your sweeties for a while. ;) Then, when I give it back to them, they'll like it again! (Or think its a brand new toy!)
