Toby you are such a handsome man. My orange tabby tomcat, Manny, is sitting in my lap as I type this. I think it is cool you are a watch cat. My oldest cat will sit in my livingroom window and growl at cats and dogs she sees outside. Congratulations on being Cat Of The Day!:D I hope you get some yogurt, peaches, and cheese nips.

Oh Toby, my heart went pitter - patter when your picture came up on my monitor. Rascal and I agree that orange tabby's are just the very best. You have "attitude" and that is what makes it so much fun to live with you.

You are just adorable. Looks like for you everything is a toy, including your food. Isn’t it fun to chase and pounce on “bed mice?” I can just picture you running from window to window, keeping an eye on the intruders into your domain. You keep your humans so well entertained with your tricks and antics. I hope you get plenty of treats today.

Whoa! Now that's a big-eared cat! I bet Toby is not only a "watch" cat but a "listening" cat as well - probably picks up the approach of those intruding cats, dogs, moose, people, whatever, when they are still blocks away.

I am especially pleased that you mentioned so many of Toby's activities without once likening him to a dog.

I have been preaching long and hard on this subject and it seems like my message is finally getting through - or perhaps you just knew, even without my preaching, that a cat is a cat and is always a cat and is never a dog or even like a dog.

Toby looks sleepy. Perhaps it is time for him to take a break from his frenetic activities, lie down, take a nap, and dream of his brother. Even in tales of joy, it seems, there is always a root of sadness.
