Look at Nebos nose. Its got like a pink stripe down the middle. :) Love that nose!!;) Maybe its a husky thing???
Gotta love those husky noses--I think it's fairly common!!
Lol yup! :D Definitely a husky thing...other dogs get it also. It's called a "snow nose." Usually the pink gets lighter in the cold months. I think it's cute. :)Quote:

Buddy's nose is black in the summer and is pink in the winter - I understand it turns black so they don't get sunburn (pigment chg.) Abby has a brown nose and it is only slightly pink this winter.

BORING?!?!? Nothing about Mickey is boring!! He's adorable and so is his cute lil nose!! :DQuote:

I know for Labrador Retrievers, when the nose is pink it is called a "dudley" or "liver nose". This is a disqualification for Labradors in the show ring, since their nose color is not suposed to be pink. Yellow Labs are the ones who get this problem the most.
My dog's nose is turning pink. He drinks from a stainless steel bowl and eats from a ceramic bowl. I got him from a breeder, and both parents have great black noses.
Answer
There are numerous conditions that can cause loss of pigment in a dog's nose. Allergies, infections, and immune mediated diseases are the three big groups that could commonly be involved. The best thing to do is to have a thorough physical exam to find out what's behind the change.
