You may have to rearrange but you should be able to get three small paws in at some point...

Finally, bring the last small paw into the pot.

I absolutely LOVE those photos! Thank goodness you had your camera handy. Rocky pulled the same thing a few weeks ago with the crock pot that was sitting out. Crazy cat couldn't fit, but he nestled in just the same.:)
