Reverse Meatloaf

In the morning when Edwina returns from having breakfast with her poppa she gets on the bed with me. She gives me "the look" which means "roll on your back please!" I usually oblige and she proceeds to settle down on my thighs for a nap. (She likes to do this during the night as well and it is VERY hard on my back after a while!)

I looked at her this morning and realized I was looking at a Reverse Meatloaf!

I asked my husband to bring the camera (he thought me nuts!!)

I've got tears rolling down my cheeks I'm laughing so hard!!! Lady Edwina I'm sure, would be just mortified :eek: at her precious "wide load" being the "butt" (pun intended) of jokes on PT. What a hoot!!!

A friend with a gray cat once described that position as the "stealth bomber" pose - do you suppose Edwina is a spy??

Peanut likes to lay on my legs like that too, but thankfully she lays the other way around - whew! :D That is too funny, and somehow I think the first one wouldn't have been ok with Edwina, but she would have abided it, but the second one, the close up...:D :D :D She will surely get you for that one. :D :D

Oh, and a question. So you have your husband trained to go to the grocery store, and to the Flower and Garden show, and does he make his half of the bed when he gets up too??!?!!?:eek: :eek: If so, where do I find one like that? ;) :D Or maybe I just started out on the wrong foot and never trained him from the very beginning - damn! ;) :D
