yesterday I watched the movie on tv, "the Delaney sisters, having our say"
did anyone see it?
I had read the book a few years ago.
I thought it was a good movie.
just wondered what others thought?
I think it is just awful the way african americans were treated for so long.
also, has anyone read that book, black like me? my nephew was reading it once, and I had never heard of it, so then I read it.
Course I didn't see the movie MMC- being over here - but I wondered who wrote the book - I wouldn't mind reading it and having a full name will make finding it so much easier.

I remember reading "Black Like Me" years ago in school. A classic that everyone should read sometime in their lives. Missed the movie though.:( Maybe it's on tape/DVD
yes , I'm sure it is on tape, I know the movie had been on tv before, a few years ago.

I think it's awful that blacks are STILL treated like crap. :(
I'm sure they are, but, I meant the way they had no rights long ago, like having to ride in the back of the bus, use separate drinking fountains, etc etc. it is just so unbelievable to me that went on!
MMC - just to let you know I've ordered the book from Amazon in UK - they had it! So I'm looking forward to it's arrival and a good read. Thanks.
