I voted for one of each...its neat to see the difference between male and female cats. They are both really great.
Um....could Hayley Rose be getting a new brother or sister?? ;)
That's what I thought.
If you started with a female, 2 males cannot be an option isn't it?
Exactly! ;) :DQuote:

I've got one of each, and Peanut is such a little girl, and Tubby is such a big boy. Peanut is a Daddy's girl and Tubby is a Momma's boy.
Just think, you could call Hayley's new little brother Harley, Hayley and Harley - might be a little confusing, but cute. ;) :D
I just have a thing for male cats. I think they are friendlier and get along better with new kitty family members. so I said 2 males
I agreeQuote:

My first cat Sydney was a male . He was such a sweetheart . But when the vet kept telling us that lots of diseases are more common on males , I chose for female cats now . My two litle rascals have been healthy so far ; let's hope it stays like this  :)
I didn't vote...I think it depends so much on the socialization. My males are very affectionate, but, my girls are too!
I have a female and so does my room mate. They get along very well. They actually sleep together on the bed. ( This is amazing because my Allie chooses not to associate with other cats! Only small dogs!) So I voted for two females.
Welcome Clgravit,
We'd love to see some pictures of your Allie.:)
I personally think that males are less work, though i did not know that dieases accur to them more than females. I used to have a male cat named Felix... he was the best cat ever! (to me anyway) I voted one male and one female because then U can see the difference between them, and they could some day have kittens!

I have not figured out how to put pictures on here yet!
I have many though!!!
I don't think bringing more kittens into the world is the best thing to do. I work in cat rescue and every summer for every kitten we place there are probably dozens we can't.Quote:

OK, I'll get off my soapbox now. Welcome to Pet Talk.
Pics are easy; size them appropriately to under 60K and put them as an attachment. I don't know how to do it the other way but there are TONS of folks that can help you.
Well, here's my opinion. I have 4 girls and 2 boys. They all get along. So my opinion is.....
WHATEVER!! :D
Boys are a little less expensive to neuter too.
