Stuck on a Ski Lift!
I wanted to try snowboarding!!So i went to the local ski/snowboard and i did reallly good! Then i was on the ski lift with my friend and we were about to go for the last run and it stopped!!It was about 10:00 at night and REALLY cold. We thought we would be up and running again in 2 minutes or so. We were the only ones on the lift!! So we are sitting talking and then the little patrol vehicle comes and the guy says "We are trying to fix it"so we relaxed. It was really windy too and we were both fREEzing!!Then my friends little brother comes up and says they are coming with a ladder!!We thought he was trying to fool us but it was true!!They couldn't fix the lift!!It was really scary we were at the highest point and not we had to climb down a ladder!!I was freezing,numb, i was shaking!
We both got down safely but it was still A VERY SCARY experience...probably the most scary one in my whole entire life!!

OMG Amy that must have been scary! Especially with my terrible fear of hights I would have been horrified! Anyway, glad you are safe and sound. :)

Well actually i was going to have a lesson but this guy TOTALLY messed up so me and my friend got 2 free lessons,then for the lift we got 2 free lift tickets!!!
that was the best!!

Aaaagh! Jah that sounds really scary. I hate ladders and I hate ski lifts. Glad you made it down safe though!!

there's a ladder at work that is rickety, the shop manager had to go up it and it started to slip so i held onto the bottom so he wouldn't fall.
Coupla weeks ago my BOSS went up that ladder and tried to come back down but the ladder slipped and BAM he fell onto the cement Shop floor! OUCH!!!!!!!
he got bruised up but he'll live :)

Ouch!!This ladder was sturdy and plenty of people were holding it!!

Glad you got down safely. I would of been terrified! I am on my way now to pick my son up at our church. He went skiing with his Boy Scout troop today. I hope he doesn't have any stories to tell like this. :eek:
