What a beautiful, blue Budgie boy you are, Henry! Your sky blue and white plumage is gorgeous, with a face as sweet as can be; each one of your heart-melting photos has be smiling from ear to ear! And wow, what an amazing, heart-warming story of rescue is yours, Henry. Talk about a case of mutual rescue!

It sickens me, the thought of anyone abusing a tiny, defenseless bird.:( But being the smart boy that you are, you escaped that sad existence, flying to that ball field and onto the lap of a fan!:eek: Finally finding your way to HS rescue, it wouldn't be long before you would find that loving home meant to be yours, blossoming into the healthy, confidant, trusting and joyful boy we meet here today, thanks to the unconditional love and patience of your humans! How blessed your forever family was, Henry, the day you chose them to be yours! And every day since not only have you brought immeasureable joy to their lives, you helped to heal their hearts following the passing of their beloved Budgie, Daisy-Bee. (Fate will have it's way!:)) How lucky your humans are, having a beautiful, joyful, gentle and loving feathered family member in you, Henry, their Pet of the Day, EVERY day!

Dearest Henry, what a beautiful American Budgie you are! Those sky-blue and white feathers are gorgeous, and you have the sweetest face with those lovely big dark eyes. And what a story you have to tell! I was so sorry you'd been mistreated by a former "owner." Somehow you managed to escape. How wonderful that were then rescued and brought to the Humane Society.. and there you met your true people and went Home with them! They were grieving the recent loss of their budgie Daisy-Bee. You've helped to comfort them, as they've helped you overcome your fears from your previous mistreatment. You're best friends with your budgie housemate Archie, and you like to follow him everywhere. You both enjoy riding around on shoulders together. You never stop singing, and you get mad if someone talks over you. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
