Hi Dita in the U.K.! Congrats on being crowned our New Year's Day Pet of the Day! And how fitting your Pet of the Day honors would fall on your one year homecoming anniversay! Happy anniversary!:)

At first glance I thought your sister, Leilani, was crowned Pet of the Day for a 2nd time in one week!:D You two could be twins (though on second glance Leilani is a bit fuzzier, lol), but of course you're so extra special in your own right! As your Mom says, your long, silky, gray locks are just as sleek and shiny as can be, and with that sweet face, well, hearts beware!;)

We're so glad you found your way to such a caring and committed, loving furever home, Dita! You, Lelani and Spike truly are living the good life, treated to all a pig could for and then some! If only all pigs were as blessed as you three are! Of course it's your human who is the luckiest of all, having 3 furkids as beautiful, as sweet and loving as you, Leilani and Spike in her life, bringing so much joy and laughter to her days!

Enjoy you well earned day in the spotlight, sweet baby girl...treated to extra floor time, playing with brother, Spike, and sis, Leilani; feasting on a yummy salad; receiving tons of gentle cuddles as you serenade your Mom with those sweet wheeks and coos; being loved and pampered to pieces! Dearest Dita von Pig, what an utterly adorable Guinea Pig you are! Your long, glistening, fluffy grey coat is gorgeous and looks downright luxurious, and what a sweet face you have with those lovely big dark eyes! You are so cute in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. How nice to see you and meet you just a few days after your dear mom Leilani was crowned Pet of the Day! (And maybe we will see your brother Spike here some day, too?!) It's so nice that you three are all related and were all adopted from Freshfield's Animal Rescue. (My deepest thanks to the fine folks and critters of Freshfield's for rescuing you and keeping you all safe and happy and well-fed so you could meet your dear Furrrever family and go Home with them one day!) You and your mom Leilani were adopted to be friends for their little pig Nacho. Sadly, Nacho went to the Rainbow Bridge a few months later, and then your brother Spike joined the family. You were the shyest one at first, but you eventually came out of your shell. You still hide, but you're the easiest to catch and therefore get the most hugs. And you're not at all shy at treat time! You and all your family, piggies and people, love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, precious Dita, on being POTD! You are gorgeous, adorable, photogenic and Heaven-sent! (We :love: Cavies/GPs!) We loved reading about your sweet personality and how much your human family loves you! (We can't imagine life without our precious adopted cavies either!)
