Thanks, those are excellent photos!
Number Four is my favorite.
Number Nine looks silly. I hope it is also practical.
Those are great pics! I like number 4 and number 5 - my two favorite dogs!
Thanks so much for showing those pictures, those Dogs and their Handlers are my true Heros.

too cool, I love pictures of the rescue dogs. I like the picture of the GSD in the cammies.
I LOVE them all but I think One is my favorite :)

Sue,
Thanks so much for posting that. I know that these dogs and their humans have worked so hard in awful circumstances. It does us good to be reminded. :D

I think this picture shows the horrendous realization and resulting despair caused by this monumental tragedy.
I admire the SAR teams so very much! The unselfish devotion in trying to save lives however futile it may be. I am in awe of them.

On a lighter note: Paul, I think that macho GSD looks ruggedly handsome in his raincoat! Would you be brave enough to tell him he looks, "silly?" Hehehe

Thank you Sue for posting that link.
Those photos appeared in the magazine of "Best Friends" I just received and I was thinking of scanning them and showing them here. You save me the time of trying to do that. They are really remarkable pictures.
I found another site with pictures, but I just can't find it!!! Darn!
It's so interesting and neat to look at those pictures. I wonder if they still have the dogs down there?
