What a touching, heartwarming tribute to her/his beautiful Dutch bunny boy your human has shared with us today, along with those utterly heart-melting photos! Unfortunately I'm unable to pet your gorgeous grey and white coat, but from your photos alone I can just imagine how silky, soft to the touch it is! Oh, to cuddle your sweet self must be pure heaven!
It breaks my heart to hear that a bunny as beautiful, as sweet and gentle as you was surrendered to a shelter with a possible history of mistreatment.:( But as your Mom/Dad says, those sad days are but a distant memory now, you truly living the good life, the carefree, happy life you so rightly deserve; loved unconditionally and cherished for the EXTRA special boy that you are! It's no wonder you may still be just a bit hand shy after all you've been through, accepting affection on your terms. But oh, how far you've come since those early days, slowly but surely coming out of your shell!
Endless thanks to your wonderful family for choosing adoption, opening up their home and hearts to one beautiful bunny boy! Now he is in his nice new home, running around his cage and relaxing in his sand box. He lets me touch his ears now, though he still gets a bit worried if you touch underneath them. He even lets me kiss his nose. I love him and I think that even though he was adopted he is still an amazing pet who loves his owners.
