My Pretty Dexter!

I just love this "big guy" so much, I had to share his most recent picture, taken today! Any Dex look-a-likes out there?

My Livvy looks a lot like Dexter in coloring and general body shape, but she's built more compactly. Tatsxxx11's Oliver looks a lot like Dexter, but with a Persian face. I'm sure there are others with these outstanding looks, too. :D

No look-a-like here ; but Dexters furr looks just as soft as my Inka's !! What breed is Dexter ?? I am asking you this as I still haven't figured out what Inka is ..:rolleyes: :confused:

Dexter is a gorgeous lad! He looks a lot like a cat I had as a child.

Dexter is gorgeous. His eyes remind me of my Storm's. :) I also think that Storm and Pepper have some Maine Coon in them.

Dexter is a very handsome guy. Gotta love those Maine Coones. :D I love his little floppy ear. Did it get frozen somewhere along the line or something?

Yes, he sure is a beautiful furkid. Is he a Norweigen Forest Cat? Of all my furkids, I do not have a tiger-striped tabby.

Dexter, like all of my cats are strictly indoors. We have a specially fenced back yard with a cat-topper for them to get some exercise in our tiny back yard on warm days .... so , no ... his ear didn't get frozen. hehehe

Dexter had a hematoma on his ear and had to have surgery to drain it. A hematoma is when a blood vessel bursts internally (from scratching or trauma) and if it ruptures, his whole ear would have crinkled and died. You've probably seen pictures of cats with crinkled ears before!?

Thankfully, we got Dexter to surgery right away and were able to save his ear ... he just has a little extra purrsonality in that ear now! ;)
